Job Summary
Rest Haven Homes, located in NE Grand Rapids, is a not-for-profit provider of premier specialized memory care for seniors. Our organization includes private Independent Living Apartments and an Assisted Living Facility with three levels of progressive needs-based care. We invest in our Team by supporting a dynamic, high-performance, fun and friendly workplace with our Residents as our collaborative focus.We are searching for a qualified professional for the position of 2nd Shift Charge Nurse. This individual will oversee a small team of Nurse Aides in providing daily cares, administer medications, review & process physician orders, while exercising grace and love interacting with residents, their family members and visitors.

Engage Residents, visitors, and coworkers in uplifting conversations
Serve Residents with patience and dignity
Anticipate Resident and Team needs, and seek to exceed expectations
Are able to adapt to the needs of the care environment
Lead the Nurse Aides with grace and confidence
Qualifications :
Education : Minimum Associate's Degree or equivalent in Nursing
Licenses : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), State of Michigan
Experience : Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program
At least 2 years experience working with the elderly
Position Details :
32-hours per week
Second Shift (2p-10 : 30p)
Every-other weekend required
Compensation :
35.00 - $45.00 / hour, based on experience
