Job Summary
The Catering Operations Manager for Restaurant Associates at Harvard Medical School holds duties related to the successful coordination and execution of daily catering operations. This position is primarily Monday through Friday, daytime hours and is the ideal opportunity for an entry level manager seeking experience in the highest quality corporate dining environment. This position consists of 70% administrative duties (client bookings, placing vendor orders, inventory, menu creation, event signage, etc.) and 30% operations (floor presence and leading staff in event execution). This role requires outstanding communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft products and technology. and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, organize and motivate hourly associates in daily operations
- Outstanding hospitality and an ability to build outstanding client relationships
- Assists with daily catering operations including planning and event execution
- Provides accurate data for reporting, costing and presentation of information
