The Franchisee Excellence & Support team is responsible for supporting BURGER KING® franchisees to implement support systems and management routines that improve the Guest experience and business results. The Sr. Manager of Franchisee Excellence & Support works to improve existing management routines, innovate new management systems, and consult with franchisees across North America to effectively implement and execute impactful change programs. This role reports into the Director of Franchisee Excellence & Support who in turn reports to the Senior Director of Operations Training for Burger King North America.

The Franchisee Excellence & Support team is responsible for supporting BURGER KING® franchisees to implement support systems and management routines that improve the Guest experience and business results. The Sr. Manager of Franchisee Excellence & Support works to improve existing management routines, innovate new management systems, and consult with franchisees across North America to effectively implement and execute impactful change programs. This role reports into the Director of Franchisee Excellence & Support who in turn reports to the Senior Director of Operations Training for Burger King North America.
Role And Responsibilities
- Partner with corporate field teams and franchisees to engage in operations support programs.
- Lead implementation projects with franchisees to quickly scale supported programs
- Lead onboarding and skill development of new and existing corporate field team
- Provide on-going support to franchise and cross functional partners to produce measurable impact
- Enhance franchise support by providing strategic input and expanding available tools and resources
- Drive innovation to build and enhance support programs and modernize restaurant management tools
- Identify opportunities to improve and innovate new operations systems
- Act as an internal consultant with cross-functional teams and a client-facing brand representative with franchisees
- Experience working with national or global restaurant brand preferred
- 5 years of professional experience in operations and/or client success roles; consulting experience is a plus
- Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving, critical thinking and action planning skills
- Prior experience in project management
- Strong communication & inter-personal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, franchisees and influence decision-making
- Ability to demonstrate understanding of franchise business models, restaurant P&L, and performance measures
- Strong organization skills
- Experience as a multi-unit manager or regional restaurant brand consultant is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Travel required approximately 25%
