Recognizing the strategic nature of the tax function, RBI is building a world class tax department with personnel based in Miami, FL and Toronto, ON. The teams in Miami and Toronto work closely together to meet the diverse tax provision, compliance, and planning needs of this large and complex international organization. Due to the company’s growth and expansion, we are expanding our dedicated provision and compliance team in Miami to manage and oversee the provision and compliance process and are currently looking for a Senior Analyst, Tax Provision to be a part of this talented team.

Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in the overall management and preparation of the quarterly and annual global tax provision and tax disclosures under ACS 740 (within the Form 10Q and 10K filings)
- Analyze, calculate, and document reserves for uncertain tax positions (FIN 48) and valuation allowances.
- Assist in preparation and review of U.S. and international income tax compliance process in conjunction with the outside tax compliance service providers.
- Assist with analysis related to return to provision adjustments.
- Calculate and prepare quarterly federal estimated tax payments and prepare cash tax presentations to be presented to management.
- Monitor legislative changes in US tax laws that may impact the Company’s tax positions, including tax accounting implications.
- Assist in maintaining SOX controls and processes for income taxes in accordance with SOX 404
- Work closely with various groups within and outside of the organization (including finance, legal, external auditors, and third-party providers) with respect to wide array of tax, financing, and operational matters.
- Assist with the calculation of state income tax expense and estimated tax payment.
- B.S./B.A. in Accounting or Finance, CPA and Masters in Taxation strongly preferred.
- 3 years of tax accounting experience with a public accounting firm or corresponding in-house experience with a publicly traded company.
- Experience in U.S. and international tax and tax accounting (preferred)
- Strong understanding of US corporate tax/ASC 740 and general understanding of international tax
- Solid understanding of research platforms (e.g., IntelliConnect, BNA, RIA, CCH)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Miami-based position
