Project Manager

Job Summary
We are looking to hire a detail -oriented project manager who can help our company continue to grow. We need someone with integrity and leadership qualities that can lead a crew to complete our jobs efficiently and effectively. We are looking for someone with Experience in Project management all the qualifications listed below. We function as a team at RES so we are looking for a team leader to help our company get to the next place.

Project Manager Job Skills/ Qualifications:

• Must be able to read plans to install stainless steel kitchen equipment
• Must be able to install stainless steel food service equipment (unload, uncreate, set-in place)
• Must be able to install walk-in cooler/ freezer
• Must be able to install commercial exhaust hoods and set wall panels behind hoods
• Cross train others to install as well (within 6 months)
• Communication - project manager will communicate with clients on site or general contractors on site as well as report to the general manager the job progress, completion, and/ or challenges.
• Typical types of communication required: tracking down trucks scheduled to show up, missing items from trucks, damaged items, issues with job site readiness, issues with plans not lining up with job site ..etc.
• Delegate and distribute roles to team in order to effectively complete projects according to the schedule
• Strategic planning - project manager will need to be able to think ahead, problem solve on the job site, prepare a list of materials needed, and communicate what’s needed to get the work done.
• Help keep up with materials/tools & help the crews get trucks/trailers loaded
• Leadership - Project manager needs to be able to effectively, confidently, and positively influence the crew to complete the job. Job expectations:

• The project manager is the point of contact for General manager on job site
• Prepare for the job site of the day by getting all materials, tools, trucks, and any trailers loaded and prepped with all supplies needed for the job (supply list is made a week prior to start date on the job).
• Communicate with the client/ GC on the job sites
• Lead team well on job site with positivity and clear direction
• Unload trucks when they show up, unbox, account for all equipment needed to be installed (note and contact general manager if anything is missing)
• Direct crew on site to complete the work on the plans efficiently and effectively
• Ensure crews are working safely and wearing the necessary PPE..etc.
• Track job site progress, report to general manager to keep the schedule up to date
• Report your crews hours for the day to the general manager
• Pack up all tools and clean up job site at end of day

Job Type/ Schedule:

• Full time
• Travel - The job does require travel. RES covers the cost of the travel.
• Occasional weekends - we aim to avoid this, but occasionally there is a project that requires working on the weekends.
• Average 50 hour work week @ an hourly rate.
• We’ll give you holidays off or a floating holiday to use if we work on the holiday.(Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day)
• PTO/Vacation 2 weeks per year - 3 weeks after 5 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
