POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the daily accounting functions associated with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). This role supervises Support Center Accounts Payable Specialists and oversees daily AP and AR functions to ensure deadlines are met, and all disbursements and receivables are processed accurately and timely. The Supervisor monitors daily transactions, compiles, and provides the necessary data and reports for management to assess the condition of outstanding AP and AR balances.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES – Including, but not limited to :
Accounts Payable Functions
- Process all recurring payments.
- Review, approve, and post AP journal voucher batches.
- Audit vendor changes and code expense reports.
- Process utility consolidations.
- Perform manual check processing and resolve discrepancies in corporate / store invoices.
- Ensure accurate and timely disbursement processing.
- Oversee the adherence to and updating of procedures consistent with Sox 404 narratives.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
4-year accounting degree with 5 or more years of experience in an AP supervisory position; or a 2-year degree with equivalent experience in lieu of a 4-year degree.
