Customer Service Representative
Our company has been in business for 42 years providing premium coffee and teas to the restaurant, hospitality, and retail industry. We are seeking a part-time customer service representative for our exciting, fast-paced work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following but not limited to)
· Providing prompt and efficient service in a fast-paced environment
· Fulfilling and processing customer order requests, order follow-ups, and backorders
· Credits, billing, payments, and expediting orders.
· Supplying and following up on clarifications, delivery information, expediting, discrepancies, products, recommendation products, and product complaints.
· Maintaining and updating computerized customer records.
· Dispatching route drivers or service technician team members for service calls.
· Serving as customer contact by telephone, mail, fax, or email.
· Understanding internal procedures and personnel contact for ensuring task completion and accurate paperwork.
Position Requirements:
· Experience in customer service and associated fields.
· Winning attitude and ability to work well with a variety of people and a team environment.
· Must have a working knowledge of Windows, Excel, and order entry software to accurately process orders and maintain ship to information.
· Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
· Previous telephone call center experience a plus
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information and respond to questions from managers, customers, sales team, service technicians, and the general public.
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
· Background in retail or restaurant industry
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Education
· Minimum High School Diploma
