What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Executive - Entry Level position at Restaurant Technologies?
As a Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be identifying and signing new customer accounts in an assigned territory. In this entry-level role, you will participate in our sales training and onboarding program, immersing yourself in product knowledge and becoming an expert in all things sales. You will learn to manage the entire sales process for cooking oil management for small franchisees, single locations, regional chain restaurants and other food service providers.
You will take the lead in uncovering new prospects and working them through the sales process while achieving specific milestones that indicate proficiency in key sales competencies. You will learn to use sales tools like Salesforce, CLM and other sales prospecting tools.
Training will include a combination of in-person training followed by additional virtual training and one on one training in the field. Occasional travel to our corporate offices in Mendota Heights, MN, may be required.
Responsibilities
- Uncover new prospects in your assigned territory
- Develop a strong active pipeline with a mixture of prospects in different sales stages
- Build presentations, quotes and contracts using existing Sales tools
- Propose, negotiate & close within a short sales cycle (60 days)
- Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Spend at least 85% of your time in your assigned territory onsite with potential customers
- Enter & track daily sales activities and pipeline in Salesforce
- Accurately forecast your monthly and quarterly sales
- Effectively organize your schedule for superior time management using Salesforce Maps
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to drive using your own vehicle within the designated territory on a daily basis
- HS diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
- Sales related education (bachelor's degree, minor, concentration, certificate, and/or coursework)
- Experience using Salesforce
- Cold calling and strategic selling experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications
Compensation & Incentives
- Competitive base pay plus uncapped commission.
- Auto allowance, company paid tablet and cell phone along with corporate card to cover other expenses
- Extensive sales training provided including online training, one on one workshops, and shadowing opportunities
