We are an upscale restaurant offering a refined dining experience with a focus on exceptional cuisine, superior service, and an inviting ambiance. As we continue to grow and elevate our brand, we are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Operations to lead and oversee all operational aspects of our Dallas location.

Position Overview :

The Director of Operations will be responsible for managing and optimizing daily operations, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining top-tier service standards, and upholding the high-quality dining experience that our brand is known for. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in upscale restaurant management and the ability to drive profitability while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest service, food quality, and cleanliness.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of restaurant managers and staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Manage all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring smooth coordination between the kitchen and service teams.
  • Maintain and enforce restaurant policies and procedures, including health and safety standards, to ensure compliance and a safe working environment.
  • Implement cost control measures, monitor budgets, and drive operational efficiency to ensure profitability.
  • Develop and execute staff training programs to enhance service standards and operational knowledge.
  • Collaborate with executive chefs and the culinary team to ensure consistent menu quality and innovation.
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure inventory management, food cost control, and high-quality product sourcing.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
  • Oversee and ensure the successful execution of special events, private dining, and catering operations.
  • Engage with guests to solicit feedback, resolve issues, and ensure a memorable dining experience.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 2 years in an upscale or fine dining environment.
  • Proven experience in managing high-volume operations while maintaining exceptional service and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, train, and develop a team.
  • Exceptional financial acumen, with experience managing P&L, cost controls, and budgeting.
  • Ability to think strategically, with a focus on driving business growth and maintaining operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience.
