Restek is seeking a dynamic and strategic Distribution Manager to lead our on-site warehouse and distribution operations. In this role, you'll ensure seamless receiving, handling, storing, picking, packing, and light manufacturing processes while maintaining top-tier quality standards. You’ll be responsible for inventory accuracy, efficient order fulfillment, and optimizing shipping performance.
What You'll Do:
1. Optimize Operations & Supply Chain Efficiency
- Oversee warehouse and distribution activities to ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment.
- Implement best practices in inventory control, product handling, and shipping methods to enhance efficiency.
- Leverage advanced ERP systems to optimize workflow, minimize errors, and improve tracking.
2. Strategic Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Align distribution operations with corporate objectives, collaborating closely with domestic and international teams.
- Analyze logistics data to drive informed decision-making, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Oversee capital expenditures for facility improvements and equipment upgrades to support long-term business growth.
- Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous process enhancements and efficiency gains.
- Anticipate and proactively mitigate potential disruptions, such as carrier delays, supply chain interruptions, and weather-related impacts.
3. People-Centric Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing distribution team, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and professional growth.
- Provide training and coaching to enhance employees’ logistics expertise and operational skills.
- Promote collaboration across departments to improve cross-functional processes and workflows.

What You'll Bring:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred; 5 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or warehouse management.
- Skills & Expertise: Strong background in inventory management, domestic and international fulfillment, ERP systems, and cross-department collaboration.
- Leadership & Communication: Proven experience managing teams, delivering constructive feedback, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Tech-Savvy & Analytical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP software, and the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Flexibility: Occasional domestic and international travel (~10%) as needed.
This position will require the successful completion of a standard background check in accordance with Restek policy. Employment with Restek will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
