Senior Buyer

You’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of our procurement and supply chain operations. As the architect of our procurement strategies, you will harness your expertise in contract management, MRP systems, and inventory control to propel our business forward. • Forecast and Strategize – Analyze MRP-driven demand data, turning numbers into actionable strategies that keep our supply chain humming.
• Execute with Precision – Manage the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring that decisions align with our business goals.
• Think Big, Act Smart – Use data and critical thinking to optimize inventory levels, balancing financial impacts with supply chain risks.
• Strengthen Relationships – Build lasting partnerships with suppliers, leveraging those connections to reduce risks, resolve issues, and drive value.
• Innovate and Explore – Scout for new suppliers—both domestic and global—who bring fresh ideas, cost savings, and reduced lead times.
• Refine and Improve – Look for opportunities to streamline our procurement processes, then recommend and implement solutions.
• Collaborate and Negotiate – Review contract drafts, providing insights and recommendations to safeguard the company’s interests.
• Document and Educate – Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to share best practices and mentor team members.
• Handle Transactions –  Process purchase orders (POs), submit requisitions, expedite materials, and ensure data entry accuracy to support seamless procurement operations.
• Lead Beyond the Job Description – Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to keep our organization moving forward.

What You'll Bring :

Typical requirements for this position are a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management or related field with seven years of progressive experience in procurement or planning.
