Job Summary: The Accounting Temp performs routine accounting functions to support the goals of the Finance department. The primary work focuses on accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Job Duties:
- Perform routine accounting duties following established procedures
- Assist in processing supplier invoices
- Assist in providing monthly statements and payment reminders to customers
- Assist in processing cash receipts
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma with some background in bookkeeping
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications
- Ability to work accurately with numbers and strong math skills
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment
