V&E Software Engineer Location : On Site - WMA
Clearance Requirement : TS / SCI with FSP Polygraph OVERVIEW Join our team as a Cybersecurity V&E Engineer and play a key role in developing cutting-edge solutions for our clients. You will work in a collaborative environment, bringing together verification and validation expertise and cybersecurity knowledge to address critical needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with end-users and developers to design, integrate, verify, validate, and test innovative technical solutions.
- Conduct hands-on verification and validation of COTS and custom products within our specialized lab environment.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to recommend optimal solutions for clients.
- Apply systems engineering principles to ensure robust and reliable solutions. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 10 years of professional experience required for Senior level.
- 5 years of systems engineering and / or software development lifecycle experience
- 3 years of experience with system or network design, implementation, integration, testing, and security
- 2 years of experience with Wi-Fi, cellular, and / or mobile technologies and protocols
- Knowledge of Linux, Python, VMware
- Knowledge of networking protocols, routing, firewalls
- Knowledge of software vulnerabilities and exploits
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills OPTIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (Nice to haves)
- Experience with KaliLinux, Wireshark
- Experience with software development
- Experience with Cybersecurity products, including anti-virus and endpoint security variants and methods
- Experience with mobile security products and capabilities
- Experience with end point and / or network forensic analysis
- Knowledge of firmware or embedded systems
- Knowledge of operating systems at the administrative or kernel level
