Job Summary And Qualifications

• Responsible for the provision of the EEG diagnostics to include, but not limited to: Electroencephalograms, and Electrocerebral Silence Studies on patients according to physician’s orders and established department and hospital standards of care.
• Responsible for the care of patients ages: neonate/infant (birth-1 yr), pediatric (1-12 yrs), adolescent (12-18 yrs), adult (18-65), geriatric (65 yrs and over).
• Abides by all rules, directives, policies and procedures, and performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Graduate of EEG program or 3 years’ experience as an EEG Technologist or facility based training program.
• License: None
• Certification: BLS required, EEG certification obtained with 24 months of hire
• Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience as EEG technologist preferred; Two years’ experience with adult patients as EEG Technologist with completion of EEG Technology Program preferred. Registered EEG technologist preferred.
