##Job Summary
We are looking for a Lead Water Damage Restoration Technician ready to start on April 28, 2025. The ideal candidate will have 3 years experience as a skilled Water Restoration Tech and will be looking to take on a roll overseeing other technicians within our growing company while also performing the job duties needed to complete water mitigation at residential properties.
This is a labor-intensive construction related position. Experienced techs only need apply. This position offers opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.
This position has a rotating “on call / emergency response” requirement with appropriate compensation for after hours work.
If you are IICRC WRT, AMRT, or ASD certified, Awesome! If not, as long as you are willing to learn and have a great attitude, we will provide you with the experience and pay for you to attend the classes to achieve your certifications.
Primary service area in Burlington, Camden, Gloucester counties.
Requirements:
- Visit new assignments/jobs, interface with the customer
- Scope the damages, perform mitigation services, provide documentation to the estimator for approval
- Perform basic demolition of drywall, flooring and other affected structures
- Perform Disinfecting and Cleaning of remaining property structure
- Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
- Develop moisture mapping and create drying-log
- Be capable of carrying heavy loads of debris, damaged materials, and equipment from the property
- Capable of leading a small team and maintaining responsibility for equipment
Qualifications:
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Be ready, willing and able to work and be available for overtime when needed
- Be able to work unsupervised and complete project tasks
- Have a great attitude, be trustworthy, be dependable, and have a pleasant personality
- Willingness to undergo a background check, drug screen and driving record check
Experience:
- Water Mitigation, 3 years (Preferred)
- Restoration, 1 year (Preferred)
- Construction, 1 year (Preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
