Job Summary
We are looking for a Certified Dietary Manager to be a part of a unique health care community where senior care is provided in residential homes, each with their own kitchen and oversee the cooks to provide home cooked meals. Duties
- Assists with hygienic practices related to safe food handling techniques with current edition of Food Code published by the US Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Services, Food and Drug Administration.
- Organizes supplies for storage and redistribution to homes, rotating supplies to avoid outdated.
- Contributes to development of policies and procedures and review of dietary policies annually.
- Assists with continuous quality improvement principles to workflow, performance, production, and changes to service and dietary requirements to meet legislative requirements.
- Coaches Cooks in maintaining all records in accordance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements including the implementation and posting of all regular and therapeutic menus.
- Works with the RD Dietitian for the development of menus, recipes, etc.
- Interfaces with the Cooks at mealtimes for evaluation of service and acceptance of the meals prepared for residents.
- Plans and presents in-service education programs for the Cooks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
