Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and orderliness. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, comfortable, and impeccably clean for all guests and staff. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred, but we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow within the housekeeping field.
Responsibilities
- Dust in common areas including furniture, light fixtures, tabletops, etc.
- Wipe down doors, baseboards, windowsills.
- Empty trash and wash trashcans.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum resident rooms and the common areas.
- Clean toilets, the shower, and counter in resident and common area bathrooms. Wash mirrors and wipe down walls.
- Clean bedside tables in resident rooms; dust all shelves, removing all articles making sure thorough cleaning is done, clean light fixtures.
- Keep the housecleaning cart cleaned.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
