Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated team-player to become our Operations Manager at our fast-growing water, fire, and mold remediation company. This position is fully responsible for overseeing daily operations for the office and staff while also collaborating with owners and executives on strategies that will continue to help grow the company in various markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset to enhance productivity and profitability while fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of office and staff
- Ensure the team has the required equipment and tools for the job
- Work in sync with Project Managers
- Scheduling subcontractors as needed
- Provide leadership to organization
- Analyze accounting and financial data and optimize expenses
- Prepare and manage budgets
- Implement process improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor & approve all payroll
- Manage unresolved customer complaints and resolutions
- Account maintenance and retention
- Oversee compliance with third-party administrators concerning insurance guidelines
- Review paperwork for accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor and assess job profitability
- Responsible for monthly billing
- Oversee collections
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process of staff
- Monitor and evaluate employee(s) performance and productivity
- Motivate, counsel, and train staff
- Schedule and coordinate company meetings
- Develop employees through training and certifications
- Ensure staff is following safety protocols
- Define, implement, and monitor company policies
- Collaborate with company executives to develop strategic plans for business growth
- Attend meetings, trainings, conferences occasionally.
Qualifications:
- 5 years related experience
- Restoration knowledge preferred
- P&L Management Experience with successful track record preferred
- Ability to travel in local market on a regular basis
- Computer skills; competent in Google Suite and MS Office software (Word and Excel)
- Positive mental attitude, self-motivated, self-starter, Competitive, High Energy, Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, professional and punctual.
