About the Role:

In this role, you will provide individualized support to individuals with mental health conditions, assisting them in finding, securing and maintaining competitive employment in their chosen fields. You will utilize the evidence-based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, focusing on rapid job search, integrated mental health services, and ongoing support.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions.
Knowledge of the IPS model is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of the local labor market.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, occupational therapy, or related degree
- Preferred NYS Certified Peer Specialist or eligible for certification (see: http://nypeerspecialist.org/).
- Preferred 2 years mental health work experience.
- Six (6) months of personal or professional experience in human services.
- Clean, valid NYS driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.57 per hour
Expected hours: 37.50 per week
