We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and highly organized Job Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about connecting individuals with meaningful employment opportunities and possess a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with employers. This role requires an independent, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for our clients. You will utilize the evidence-based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, focusing on rapid job search, integrated mental health services, and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Proven experience in job development, sales, or a related field.

Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions.

Knowledge of the IPS model is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of the local labor market trends and employment resources

Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving skills, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, occupational therapy, or related degree
  • Preferred NYS Certified Peer Specialist or eligible for certification (see: http://nypeerspecialist.org/).
  • Preferred 2 years mental health work experience.
  • Six (6) months of personal or professional experience in human services.
  • Clean, valid NYS driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.57 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 per week
