PROJECT MANAGER FOR PROPERTY RESTORATION and REMODELING COMPANY

RESTORATION XPERTS in Deerfield Beach is searching for an additional Project Manager. Our company is entering its 25th year in the property restoration industry. The company maintains an excellent reputation in the industry, and has experienced a very low turnover in personnel. We have an excellent COMPANY CULTURE, with an engaged staff of TEAM PLAYERS.

A Project manages role is getting projects completed "ON TIME AND ON BUDGET." It includes building relationships with tradesmen and subcontractors as well as improving TEAM spirit by setting and meeting or exceeding goals for production timelines and budget requirements. Complete understanding of all aspects of Restoration Projects is a MUST. Most projects are between $25,000 and $100,000, with occasional larger projects.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Great communication skills

Xactimate knowledge a plus

Industry certifications a plus

Field knowledge of restoration projects, AND remodeling, including structural repairs, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, cabinetry, flooring, painting etc. is a MUST.

Understanding Emergency Services and Mold Remediation is a PLUS.

Insurance restoration industry experience a PLUS

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

We are general contractors and have been in the disaster restoration business for 24 years. Our company's geographical focus is in Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

In this front line role, you will use your proven management, communicative, and technical skills.

Project Managers Work out of our centrally located offices in Deerfield Beach, and with exception, are required to report to our offices at the start of each day.

OUR COMPANY HAS VERY LOW TURNOVER OF PERSONNEL. WE ARE SEEKING A LONG TERM AND ENTHUSIASTIC PLAYER TO ADD TO OUR GREAT TEAM!!!

This position includes both on site visits and office time to prepare schedules and documents. Administrative functions are conducted in our office environment. Good to excellent computer skills are required for industry specific software use. Notepads are used in the field for project updates. Our Project Managers are fully integrated with our Sales Estimators, so internal communications are constant. Lots of DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PROJECTS.

ACCOUNTABILITY is constant.

REQUIREMENTS:

5 Years experience working for a disaster restoration contractor as Project Manager or as a Construction Project Manager in a related construction field
Experienced in preparing production schedules
Experienced in preparation of project budgets and target dates
Experience in managing staff tradesmen and subcontractors
Experience of producing production reports
Proficiency in managing both residential and commercial restoration projects, with experience in Emergency Services, Mold Remediation and Property Restoration
Pleasant personality with strong communication and relationship building skills
Clean driving record, and ability to pass a drug screen and background check
