Job Description: The Admissions/Benefit Verification Secialist is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing systems, particularly insurance benefit verification, client screenings, admissions and contacts utilization reviewers and Case Managers. They are also responsible for working with the admissions and facility staff to assure exceptional client and community satisfaction. Specialist is responsible for maintaining scheduling and tracking for the department.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year with insurance verification is preferred.
Skills: Communication Skills, Compliance, Collaboration, Detail Oriented, Documentation, Faxing and Multi Tasking, Data Entry, Insurance Verification, Knowledge on Authorizations, Keyboarding and Typing, Proficient in Microsoft Word, Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
