As a Chiropractic Assistant/Front Desk, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations at our chiropractic clinic. Responsibilities of Patient Reception:
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive first impression.
- Manage patient check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and professionalism.
- Educate patients on treatment procedures, home care exercises, and appointments.
Administrative and Chiropractic Support:
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence promptly and professionally.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance information.
- Assist chiropractors with patient care activities, including setting up treatment rooms and preparing patients for examinations.
- Educate patients on prescribed exercises, therapies, and post-treatment care as directed by chiropractors.
Office Organization and Appointment Management:
- Keep the reception area, waiting room, and treatment rooms clean and organized.
- Manage inventory of office and medical supplies, and coordinate restocking as needed.
- Ensure all forms and documents are readily available and up to date.
- Coordinate and confirm patient appointments, and handle rescheduling when necessary.
- Monitor and manage the daily schedule to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times.
Qualifications and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional coursework or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a medical office or chiropractic setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with medical billing and insurance procedures is an advantage.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and comfortable with medical software.
- Ability to work collaboratively with chiropractors and other staff members.
- Willingness to assist in various tasks to ensure the overall efficiency of the clinic.
