This position is in the repairs/reconstruction division.

Construction experience AND experience using Xactimate is required for this position.

Primary duties include:

• Document Losses: Capture clear, descriptive job photos and upload them into the designated operating system or software.
• Prepare Reconstruction Estimates: Develop detailed reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and other industry-standard estimating software.
• Ensure Compliance: Prepare estimates in alignment with carrier audit standards, and adjust them based on feedback from clients and customers.
• Collaborate with Project Managers: Work closely with project managers to ensure all required documentation, including photos, notes, and signed forms, is complete.
• Perform Quantity Takeoffs: Accurately calculate material quantities and pricing for projects.
• Liaise with Insurance Companies: Communicate with insurance companies and adjusters via phone and email in a timely, professional manner, serving as a key point of contact.
• Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with insurance adjusters.
• Manage Documents and Assess Risks: Organize and maintain all estimate-related documents, while identifying and addressing potential project risks.
• Resolve Estimate Exceptions: Address and resolve any exceptions or discrepancies in estimates promptly.
• Ensure Professional Communication: Maintain consistent, professional communication with customers to address their needs and concerns.
  
  
  

Desired Qualities:

• Proficiency in Xactimate software, or comparable estimating software for construction
• Minimum 2 years of construction experience
• Skilled in computer and phone use
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and attention to detail
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass background to age 18 and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have an Oregon Driver's License with a clean driving record in past 3 years.
  
  
  

Compensation:

• Competitive Salary: Min. $66,000 and up jobs per year ; In addition to your monthly base rate, receive a MONTHLY commission based on your signed up estimates that turn into jobs when the work is completed.
