We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyses on various specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples.
- Perform specimen collection and processing, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Utilize advanced techniques such as PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) for molecular diagnostics.
- Maintain knowledge of anatomy to accurately interpret test results and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Participate in clinical trials by collecting data and managing laboratory information systems.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and laboratory regulations during all testing processes.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Document all findings accurately in accordance with data management protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field is required.
- Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, specimen collection processing, and data management practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with healthcare professionals and patients alike.
