Position Overview:

We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee our daily business activities and drive efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, a strategic thinker with a passion for education, possessing the ability to improve operational systems, processes, and best practices. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our business operations run smoothly and support our mission to provide outstanding educational services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the company and work closely with the executive team to set strategic goals.
  • Work side by side with the CEO and develop strategic initiatives to drive company growth and maximize the effectiveness of services for students.
  • Implement efficient processes and standards to enhance productivity and ensure operational excellence.
  • Develop innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and address challenges head-on. Lead by example in fostering an environment where creative thinking and innovation are encouraged and rewarded.
  • Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resource allocation.
  • Leverage a diverse skill set across business functions to adapt to and manage a variety of tasks, projects, and challenges. Your ability to wear multiple hats will be crucial in driving our mission forward.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ensure that resources are allocated efficiently and that financial practices support the organization's sustainability and growth.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Work with the HR department to recruit, onboard, train, and oversee staff performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process and operations optimization, including technology implementation.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment by providing clear direction and encouraging team communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Analyze operational data to evaluate performance and make necessary adjustments to meet business objectives.
  • Support a team of Program Managers by leveraging extensive experience and knowledge in program management, including assistance in implementing and maintaining company projects/programs.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on approach by actively supporting our educational programs in the office and the field.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of all business functions, collaborating closely with department heads to foster synergy and drive collective goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role, preferably in the education sector.
  • A track record of creative problem-solving and the ability to think outside the box.
  • A versatile background with experience across various business functions, demonstrating adaptability and a broad skill set.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring and motivating teams.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities, particularly in financial management, with experience in budgeting, planning, and resource allocation.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach, with a willingness to directly support and participate in educational programs.
  • Proficient in operations-related technology and software.

Compensation: $90,000 to $95,000 year to start
