Results Learning is hiring a Program Manager to manage tutoring and intervention programs in the Houston, Texas area. We are managing a tutoring program involving reading, mathematics, social studies, and science for students in grades 3 to 12 within Spring Independent School District (SISD). This program caters to the diverse needs of students throughout the district both during school and through innovative before and after school programs.
We are looking for a motivated team player who has a proactive management style, is a great communicator, is detail-oriented, and enjoys problem-solving and making a difference in the lives of the students and families we serve.
This position will require a passionate, driven and self-motivated team player to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the program. This position is responsible for planning, launching, implementing programs at local public schools, and working with the program team to ensure our tutors have the tools and support necessary to encourage and drive students’ growth and success. We are seeking a leader who can spearhead and coordinate small and large projects while energizing and empowering our team to achieve wonderful results with the students and communities we serve.
This position is a full-time, salaried role that includes a base salary of $55,000 to $65,000 (based on experience) and up to $30,000 in performance bonus potential each year.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee programs at 6 to 10 local schools
- Hire and oversee site managers at each location
- Recruit school teachers and independent tutors for tutoring positions
- Coordination and communication with schools, families, and tutors
- Conduct site visits
- Plan and oversee pre- and post-testing
- Manage data entry of daily attendance and program data
- Problem-solve with schools, families, and tutors
- Responsible for student data collection and ensuring accurate and timely entry into our systems
- Train staff and team members
- Assist in promoting the program to families
- Be a solution-oriented team member, proactively identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Strong command over written and verbal communication
- Program management skills with experience in managing and supervising
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and produce quality results on time with attention to detail
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend engagements
- Must have reliable transportation.
Work Experience Requirements
- Strong connections with the education industry, Spring Independent School District, and the Houston area at a leadership level are preferable but not required
- Past program management or project management experience
- Experience in the educational field, a plus
- Bi-lingual (English-Spanish) a plus
- Experience working with Google Workspace (G Suite)
