Central Maryland Title Company is seeking a full-time Title Post Closer . In this position, you will play a critical role in the final stages of the real estate transaction process, ensuring that all closing documents are properly executed and filed, and that the title transfer is accurate and complete. You will work closely with title companies, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties to finalize the process after the property closing. Attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review Closing Documents : Ensure all real estate closing documents (deeds, mortgages, settlement statements) are signed and properly executed.
- Record Legal Documents : Submit appropriate documents to the county or relevant government office to officially record the property transaction and title transfer.
- Verify Compliance : Ensure that the transaction complies with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies.
- Disbursement of Funds : Coordinate with financial institutions to disburse escrow funds, including payment to sellers, real estate agents, and any outstanding liens or mortgage balances.
- Title Policy Issuance : Prepare and issue title insurance policies to buyers and lenders, ensuring all outstanding requirements have been met.
- Resolve Post-Closing Issues : Address any discrepancies or issues that arise during the post-closing process, including missing documents or recording errors.
- Maintain Accurate Records : Keep detailed records of each transaction, including all documents filed and communications made.
- Liaise with Clients : Communicate with buyers, sellers, and agents to provide updates on the status of the post-closing process.
- Experience with Title Express required
- 1 years title examine experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal / written communication skills
- Intermediate Google Suite Skills, Excel
- Excellent multi-tasking and decision making skills
- Positive attitude and strong support for corporate initiatives
