Resurrection has an opening for a Café Sales Associate in our Locations division! The position is part-time, non-exempt and is located at the Leawood campus at 13720 Roe Ave. Standard hours would include Monday-Thursday 11:30am-2:30pm, for a total of 12 hours per week. Job Summary
The Café Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service, generating sales, and merchandising.

Position-Specific
- Assist in daily coffee and food service operations; efficiently operate Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Efficiently prepare all items offered in the café while following established café procedures.
- Prepare and ensure all internal catering orders are acknowledged, prepared, and delivered to the church’s ministries with excellent quality and on a timely basis.
- Model behavior with respect to excellence in customer service, selling skills, merchandising, housekeeping, and stock maintenance.
- Ensure that requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety levels in respective area are met.
- Maintain an attractive, inviting space which encourages congregants to fellowship and purchase quality products.
- Help with periodic inventory of café supplies as well as Year End Inventory.
- Maintain staff, volunteer, and guest relationships positively. Other duties as assigned.

- Qualifications
- High School education preferred.
- Ability to complete basic math functions.
- Experience in food and customer services and/or a coffee shop are preferred.
- Experience in email and word processing functions.
- Physical ability: Must be able to physically lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds and able to stand for up to 6-8 hours.
- Capable of maintaining hours, which will include Weekdays, weekends, evenings as needed.
- Proven Results in customer service skills, dependability.
