Resurrection has an opening for an HR Generalist in the Business Operations division! The position is part-time, exempt and is located at the Leawood campus at 13720 Roe Ave. Please see below for a full job description.
Job Summary
As a member of the Human Resources department, the Human Resources Generalist assists to implement strategies for all aspects of Human Resources including staffing, benefits, employee relations, compensation, development, training, and compliance.

Position-Specific
- Serves in multiple aspects of Human Resources along with HR Specialists. At any time, this position will
- Serves as recruiter and main point of contact for Learning Centers and Kids Ministries.
- Work with hiring managers to staff positions.
- Conducts phone screens and reference checks.
- Address employee relations concerns. Complete investigations and documentation. Will work with employees and supervisors to come to productive solutions.
- Research appropriate compensation levels for positions.
- Works with HR Specialists to conduct new employee orientation.
- Works with Coordinating Assistant and HR Specialists to onboard employees in HRIS.
- Administers and assists with multiple Human Resources events including new employee onboarding events.
- Serves in other aspects of Human Resources, as needed.
- Serves as recruiter and main point of contact for Learning Centers and Kids Ministries.
- Works with locations engaging with Security officers to ensure the hiring process is consistent throughout all locations.
- Administers Educational Assistance reimbursement.
- Administers Mission incentives.
- Oversees compliance training including selection of courses and ensuring completion by staff in a timely manner.
- Drives Human Resources processes for maximum effectiveness and efficiency. Provides documentation and training.
- Assists with and oversees portions of Resurrection and denominational pipeline programs such as Summer Interns, Fellows, and Residencies.
- Tracks trends, developments and best practices in multiple aspects of Human Resources.
- Works closely with LMS to provide staff with current and effective training resources.
- Serves as back up to other Human Resources positions, including administering payroll.
Human Resources Department
- Uses metric-based reporting to ensure initiatives are achieving established goals, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Embed employment brand, designed around the Resurrection Experience and centered on the Church’s purpose, throughout Human Resources programs and initiatives.
- Guides employees on available resources, methods, and tools.
- Enforces employee policies and guidelines, including Employee Handbook, updating as needed, and assisting staff with policy interpretation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines governing employment-related matters, including any related regulatory reporting requirements.
- Recruits, trains, and equips volunteers.
- Collaborates with team members on various projects.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 3 years job-related experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience including Human Resources certification through HRCI or SHRM or a college degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven Results in administering online systems and developing quality relationships.
