**Overview**
Retail Data Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team to service Clarion Pa/ Bradford/ Route 80 areas. Successful candidate will be responsible for traveling to various locations to perform a range of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks for our NCR/ IBM POS equipment. The ideal candidate should have some background in Field Service Maintenance on computers or electronic equipment, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues on site. **Duties**
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for:
- Work Schedule Mon-Fri. (Some Saturdays are required)
- Performing routine maintenance and repair tasks on NCR POS equipment, including fabricating custom parts as needed
Responsible for providing installation, maintenance and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory/region to assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Provide installation, maintenance and repairs on customers IT hardware including but not limited to: POS, PC's, Printers, POS terminals, AP’s, servers, network switches, and hand held devices.
Work on Enterprise level servers, networks and software, item processing readers and networking issues, medium networking/communications equipment, network and systems management/protocols (Ethernet Wiring)
- Collaborating with customers to identify and address customer's issues. Represent customer in a manner that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the company
- Documenting all work completed, including parts used and time spent on site
- Meeting and exceeding customer expectations in terms of quality and service
- Working in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
**Experience Preffered**
HS Diploma
Technical School Degree in electronics or computer technology
At least 1 year of hands-on POS/Computer repair experience in a customer field environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
