At the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), we convene decision-makers from the top retail brands, advocate on behalf of the industry, and promote operational excellence and innovation. Our aim is bold but simple: to elevate a dynamic industry by transforming the environment in which retailers operate.
We are the leading retail trade association in Washington, DC, known for our member-driven approach, talented team of experts across a broad range of issues, and knack for building consensus. Our team is united in our mission to take care of our members and each other and our culture is rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their best work. We’re looking for a new colleague to support our newly formed foundation, the RILA Communities Foundation (RCF).
The RCF's primary mission is to promote, foster, and encourage the vibrancy of communities in which retailers operate by supporting efforts that advance economic health and public safety, including deterring crime that occurs in and around retail stores. The RCF engages public sector stakeholders, including state and local law enforcement and prosecutors, as well as community and social service organizations, to develop research, educational materials, and evidence needed to create and implement data-backed solutions to address retail theft and associated criminal activity.
