Job Description
Retail Information Systems is actively seeking to fill a Retail Point of Sale and Inventory Management position that will play a key role in diagnosing and resolving a wide array of retail IT challenges. This position will primarily be responsible for providing solutions to our clients on a number of technical issues across a wide range of technical platforms. At RIS, our employees are continually tasked to solve complex problems and empowered with the resources needed to do so.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate must posses:
- Outstanding communication skills
- Advanced knowledge retail operations (i.e. receiving/shipping inventory, end of day, cash out, etc...)
- Experience in retail management (Store/Unit Manager, Assistant Manager, Team Lead, etc...)
- Intermediate knowledge and understanding of basic computer systems and programs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
All other software and technical related knowledge and experience will be provided by RIS. While all training is provided, preferential consideration will be provided to those unique candidates possessing experience with Retail Pro, Counterpoint, iVend, or similar point of sale system.
