Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing customer experience and to drive and follow up on sales. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Our Sales Associates play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet high-quality standards before they reach our customers.

Duties

• Help customers as they come in. Show jewelry while gaining familiarity with the product.
• Effectively get to the root cause of why the customer has come to our store and assist them in getting to the finish line.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring repairs get to the correct place and are checked for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any product-related inquiries or concerns.
• The ability to look at customers broken jewelry and create a repair ticket, identifying what each piece needs and looking up the SKU numbers in our point of sale system.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment. Gain proficiency with our point of sale system

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred, particularly in grocery stores or similar settings.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash register operations is advantageous.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• Ability to sell products effectively, demonstrating features and benefits during product demos.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to learn new techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
