Job Overview

Join Retail Merchandising Services, Inc. (RMS) as a Part-Time Retail Merchandising Representative, where you will have the opportunity to work with a national merchandising company that services a variety of retailers. This position offers the flexibility to set your own schedule while engaging in meaningful work that impacts the retail experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all assigned merchandising projects with precision and punctuality, which may include:
• Organizing and stocking products on the sales floor
• Conducting audits to ensure correct product placement
• Affixing stickers and signage on merchandise
• Collecting data and setting up displays
• Maintaining planograms and ensuring product knowledge training
• Report project completions via the RMS Web Portal or Mobile App, including answering related inquiries and uploading necessary photos.
• Undertake preparatory work before in-store assignments, ensuring the availability of instructions and supplies.
• Exercise judgment in decision-making, escalating store-level issues to the Home Office as needed.
• Cultivate and uphold professional relationships with key store personnel to align with company and client objectives.
  

Required Skills

• Fundamental understanding of retail and merchandising operations.
• Proficient in reading and comprehending retail terms and procedures.
• Reliable transportation for commuting within a 15-mile radius.
• Regular internet access with downloading and printing capabilities.
• Familiarity with smart devices (iOS or Android) for communication and reporting purposes.
• Effective communication skills, both in-person and through digital channels.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage workflow independently.
• Basic competency in using tools such as screwdrivers and box cutters.
  
  

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from \(10.00 to \)13.25.
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.45 per mile for temporary assignments outside your designated area.
