We are seeking a Bilingual Staff Accountant to play a key role in financial operations at our brand new manufacturing facility in Mexico . This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, supporting financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing financial data.
- Maintain and balance an automated consolidation system by accurately inputting data.
- Develop and analyze financial reports using spreadsheets and other reporting tools .
- Prepare general ledger entries, maintain financial records, and reconcile accounts .
- Process payments, including expense accruals and vendor management .
- Evaluate and improve accounting procedures by reviewing and optimizing current processes .
- Research and interpret financial data to answer accounting-related inquiries .
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Stay current with industry best practices by participating in ongoing education and training.
- Support the finance team with additional tasks as needed .
