WIS Retail Associate - Inventory Job Preview
This WIS Team provides inventory solutions to a broad array of retail, grocery and specialty customers across the nation. You will scan the barcodes for the current inventory at Customer locations to provide them with proper inventory information that will assist them in making better business decisions and better supporting their customers! Special Project Opportunities:
In addition to standard inventory tasks, WIS frequently engages in special projects that require associates with strong customer service and tech-savvy backgrounds. These projects may include:
- Technology Rollouts: Assisting with the implementation of new retail technologies, requiring the ability to learn and explain technical concepts to store staff and customers.
- Customer Interaction Projects: Engaging directly with customers to gather feedback on new products or services, requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Using mobile devices and software to collect and analyze data, requiring comfort with technology and attention to detail.
These special projects offer opportunities to expand your skills and contribute to innovative initiatives within the retail industry. Associates with prior customer service experience and comfort with technology are highly encouraged to express their interest in these opportunities.
Team Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- We encourage applications from candidates who:
- No degree needed
- Have no experience or returning to the workforce
- Have military experience
- We are also looking for associates with experience in Retail, Stock, Customer Service, Cashiers, Sales Representatives, Driver and/or Warehouse work. Make your experience count!
- Project Availability: Must be able to work the duration of assigned inventory projects.
- Spanish/English bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!
- Access to reliable transportation
Working Conditions
This position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time with occasional walking; the ability to use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions; the ability to frequently be in low level positions, such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching; the ability to frequently use a ladder; the ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.; the ability to frequently travel via car and occasionally via plane, including overnight stays.
