Retail Strategies, a Best Places to Work and Fastest Growing Company, is looking for a Business Development Representative for our Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona territories to help grow our revenue to the next level. The ideal candidate should be excited by selling into new markets, new services lines and products, strategizing next steps, negotiating complex deals and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities.
This role is an in-office position located at our downtown Fort Worth, TX office.
Responsibilities
- Work within the Texas territory to bring in new Client cities
- Engage with Municipalities, Chambers of Commerce, Mayors, and other Economic Development agencies
- Fully understand and have the ability to sell multiple product lines
- Track all deals from initial interaction to completion in Company customer relationship management (CRM) tool
- Meet and exceed defined sales goal per product line
- Leverage innovation to maximize revenue of traditional and digital assets and products
- Monitor changes in the industry and leverage them for business opportunities
- Participate in forums to keep abreast of new changes in the industry and practices
- Promote positive relationships with prospects and partners to understand their needs
