What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Superintendent position at Retail Transformation Specialists, Inc.?
We are a Commercial General Contractor that is looking to hire a Quality Project Manager to our growing team.
Proficient in reading blueprints and specifications to plan construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction and milestone dates. Orders procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules. Communicates with and directs personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays. Communicates with supervisory and engineering personnel and inspectors and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction process. Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules and quality. Prepares or reviews reports on progress and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports. Directs and schedules work by subcontractors. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Develop pre-construction package
- Ensure that required documentation is filed
- Assist in creating project budget for project
- Acquire bids from contractors
- Assist in conducting project meetings, setting milestones and formulating
- Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications)
- Update project schedule; ensure project quality control and establish overall project logistics
- Managing the closeout process
- Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the life of the project
- Gather data, interpret it into meaningful information, and relay that information through clear, concise communication
- Ability to see how pieces and processes fit into and affect the bigger picture/business model
- Organize and manage tasks and priorities
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience working for a Commercial General Contractor

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Night shift
