What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Processor position at Retech Systems LLC?
Position Summary
/ Perform duties related to preparation and staging of raw material. Duties include saw operation, water jet operation, organizing and staging materials for machinists and fabricators. Additional duties include assisting in the unloading of raw material trucks in deliveries when necessary and preparing surface finishes relative to Retech workmanship standards i.e., polishing, sandblasting, etc., and providing support to assembly team as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
/ Prepare metal surfaces for painting, including sandblasting.
/ Painting of fabricated metal parts.
/ Prepare raw material for fabrication, including saw cutting.
/ Read technical instructions and assembly drawings.
/ Use a variety of hand, power, and machine tools to perform assignments.
/ Will work closely with machinists and fabricators to prepare raw materials for production.
/ Replenish supplies.
/ Measure materials with rulers and calipers.
/ Other jobs as needed to benefit the manufacturing team.
/ Maintain cleanliness and organization according to safety guidelines.
/ Be an active team member in the manufacturing plant and assist other employees.

/ Able to drive forklifts.
/ Able to use overhead cranes.
/ Has a knowledge of rigging.
/ Focused and able to perform multiple tasks while maintaining a safe workplace.

/ Data entry proficiency.
Education and Experience:
/ High School graduate or equivalent.
/ Associate or Vocational degree preferred.
