Does it Fit for You?
The Business Office Assistant on the rethink team sets the tone for each and every patient's experience. They are the face of our team. The business office assistant:
- Provides exceptional care and service to patients, supporters, and guests through all forms of communication, including in-person, email, and phone calls
- Develops relationships with patients and families that build trust and encourages recovery
- Facilitates the patient flow process and effectively communicates with team members
- Coordinates scheduling of appointments for patients
- Maintains a clean and organized front desk/patient lounge area
- Collects payment from patients
- Verifies patient insurance and benefits information
- Maintains patient’s medical records and inputs patient data into our medical record system
- Operates standard office equipment such as Microsoft office systems, phones, printers/copiers, fax machines, etc.
- Performs general office duties/administrative tasks in support of the team
Education / Experience / Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Ability to handle patient information in compliance with HIPAA
- Ability to prioritize work and manage deadlines effectively
- Exceptional computer literacy and above average typing ability
- Interest in eating disorders and in making the hard easier
What will set you apart
- At least one year of experience as a receptionist or office assistant, preferably in a medical/therapy office or similar setting
- Experience with insurance verification and/or medical billing

Monday –Thursday: 7:45am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:45am – 3:00pm
Salary : $20 - $22
