We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team. Opthalmology experience a plus but will train the right person. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service within our clinic environment. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, attention to detail, and patient communication skills.
Duties
Make introductions and establish rapport with patients. Initiate patient evaluation, documenting the chief complaint, history of present illness, review of systems, and all pertinent ocular findings accurately and in accordance with compliance guidelines. Visual acuity assessment, confrontational visual field testing, pupillary evaluation, tonometry, pupillary dilation, and all other patient services as requested by the physician, maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a clinic or medical office setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
