Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare patients for ophthalmic examinations.
- Obtain detailed medical histories, documenting symptoms, medications, and previous eye treatments.
- Perform basic eye tests including visual acuity, applanation tonometry and administer eye drops as directed by physician.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment in examination rooms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Prepare exam rooms between patients, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies.
- Promote a culture aligned with the organization’s values, encouraging good performance and productivity.
- Demonstrate positive interpersonal communication and teamwork.

This position requires travel as part of the role. After completing initial training in Salem, staff members will join a rotating team that travels to our satellite locations in Albany, Corvallis, and Newberg. Typically, this rotation involves traveling to one of these locations 1-2 times per week. All travel time and mileage are fully compensated in accordance with company policy.
We do not provide visa sponsorship. All interviews are conducted on-site, currently not offering remote interview options.
