Job Overview:
Retina Consultants is currently seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Photographer to join our fast-paced and growing practice. The photographer will be involved in direct patient care and must have the ability to complete all diagnostic testing such as Bscans, fundus photography, angiography, PDT, OCT, Optos, and visual fields. Participate in the collection of patient history and complete ocular workups such as visual acuity, ocular history, take pressures, and administer eye drops.
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma
-Two years related experience working as an ophthalmic photographer in a clinical setting.
-Certified Retinal Angiographer preferred.
-Certified Diagnostic Ophthalmic Sonographer preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in medical photography or related fields.
-Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures.
-Knowledge of physiology and anatomy for accurate medical imaging.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
