Job Summary
Retina Vitreous Associates of Florida is searching for a full-time ophthalmic assistant. We have multiple locations and some travel is required. We train all applicants to meet the specific needs of the practice and providers. We are looking for a patient-centered individual to work in our high volume clinics. Must be hard-working, team-player, self-starter, empathetic, and a multi-tasker. Previous medical office or medical education is preferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Direct patient contact
- Support in office surgical treatments
- Preform diagnostic tests
- Inventory supplies and maintain exam rooms
- Assist with phone triage and patient follow up
- Exam work-ups
