What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installation technician for Custom Outdoor living spaces position at Retracta Screen of the Carolinas?

Role We Are Looking For:
This position involves the installation and repair of a variety of products such as retractable motorized units, fixed screens, retractable awnings and retractable screen doors for residential and commercial applications.
To be a successful at this position, one must be able to perform basic construction related tasks. This includes reading a measuring tape, being comfortable with climbing ladders, efficiently operate basic tools and lift approximately 50lbs.
Working outdoor in the elements is part of the job as well.
Preference will be given if you have experience in the following: insect screening, framing, window and door installation, garage door installation, trim carpentry experience, automotive technician, jobs where you are required to be mechanically inclined.
This Position requires that you have organizational skills and be a strong problem solver.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with CRM ( We take pictures and notes of every job)
- Ability to learn quickly and execute at a HIGH level with speed
- Ability to work under stress and pressing deadlines
- Able to work M-F 7:45AM-5:00PM Hours vary daily so you Must be flexible and able to work additional hours/weekends if the situation warrants it
- Able to adapt to a schedule change plans based on various things that can arise
- Scopes of work are completed and checked off with quality being held to a high standard
- Installations are completed and documented with pictures and notes
- Customers are serviced in a consistent, friendly and enthusiastic manner
- All policies and procedures are followed to optimize safety, the customer experience and ensure high-value engagements with each customer
