POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Coordinator will provide support through new hire orientation, recruitment, employee engagement activities, payroll processing, etc. These activities will include creating, maintaining and supporting multiple reports, projects, lists, and special events.
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment; correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors
- Involved in the administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs for all company personnel
- Responsible for hiring, employee orientations, and new employee relations counseling
- Initiate pre-employment process; background checks, drug screenings, etc.
- Partner with management to ensure efficient hiring and recruiting for open positions
- Assist with maintaining department files, job descriptions, and company programs to ensure accuracy and up-to-date
- Assist with timekeeping and payroll processing
- Complete data entry of employee information within data systems
- Participate in the execution of annual benefits open enrollment
- Actively participate in networking groups and other business/community programs to increase skill knowledge and relations
- Serve as a positive leader and mentor by exhibiting and instructing desirable behaviors and skill sets
- Organize materials at work station and department according to 6S standards
- Perform other related and non-related duties as assigned through on-the-job training
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- BBA in Management or similar field
- Internship or previous work experience preferred
- Software experience: Microsoft Office Suite, Payroll Software

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This position is subject to sedentary work: exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
