Job Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing (DOM) to lead the brand marketing efforts, manage our digital marketing initiatives and brand apps.
The position will play a pivotal role in executing our marketing strategies to drive growth, engagement, and conversions across all marketing platforms with cross-functional teams and enhance our brand presence outside the four walls of our clubs. The DOM
will be responsible for working with the Chief Brand Officer (CBO) to develop comprehensive strategic plans, leveraging their expertise in omni-channel marketing to generate leads, increase engagement, and ultimately convert prospects into loyal members. This role requires a blend of strategic brand and consumer marketing experience, hands-on execution with internal and external stakeholders, a successful history leading marketing transformations across a multi-million-dollar sales-driven organization, and leadership skills to coach, inspire and develop team members as well as practicing regular metrics reporting. Experience with franchisor and franchisee marketing relationships is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities :
1.Marketing Plan Strategy, Direction and Execution : Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing calendar strategy (national, regional and local) aligned with the business objectives, the Chief Brand Officer's vision and department objectives, ensuring strategic alignment and timely delivery of marketing campaigns and brand initiatives culminating in metrics review and reporting.
2.Promotional Offer Strategy, Direction and Execution : Develop and oversee promotional strategies and offers to drive customer engagement, sales, and brand loyalty, leveraging historical performance and competitive / industry insights to maximize effectiveness.
3.Marketing Budget Management : Manage Brand Development Fund and optimize
marketing budgets effectively, timely processing of invoices and ensuring resources are
allocated efficiently across various channels and campaigns to deliver ROI while staying on-budget throughout the year.
4. Creative Production Stewardship : Oversee the creative pipeline, collaborating with
internal teams and external partners to ensure creative requests are delivered on-brand
and on-time.
5.Brand Halo / Brand Strategy : Working with the CBO, develop and execute strategies to enhance brand equity and positioning outside the four walls of our clubs, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand experience across all touchpoints (inside and outside of our clubs) to strengthen brand halo and resonate with target audiences.
6.Strategic Field Marketing Leadership : Provide strategic direction and support to
franchisees and their management teams to drive local leads and joins throughgrassroots local marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with overall brand and marketing
objectives while leveraging local market insights.
7. Join Now Media Management, LSM Programs and Activations : Lead the development and implementation of our Join Now Media service (our in-house agency service offering) for each client, manage their digital marketing strategies, activations and spend, work cross-functionally with the digital marketing manager related to activations. Create and facilitate presentations reporting on efforts, results and ROI metrics. Provide local store marketing (LSM) programs, consultations and activations to enhance brand visibility, drive leads / joins, and increase revenue at the local level, collaborating with franchisees and cross-functional partners.
8. Manage effectiveness and performance of our proprietary Brand and loyalty apps (E-GYM and Perkville). Content management, oversee content managers to ensure seamless functionality and oversee consumer-related requests.
9.Investor Relations Marketing Stewardship : Working with CBO, oversee production and execution of investor relations marketing programs to develop and execute marketing strategies and materials.
10.Weekly Reporting : Generate and analyze marketing metrics performance reports on a weekly basis, providing insights and recommendations to optimize strategies and tactics, track KPIs, and ensure accountability and transparency in marketing efforts.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. Master's
degree preferred.
