Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fitness Director to oversee all aspects of our Pro-Fitness Program. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading execution of department best practices, overseeing administrative details, hiring and training personal trainers and fitness consultants, and communicating with club members.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth of department revenue via the Pro-Fitness Program's sales and service program
- Lead flawless execution of department best practices as they pertain to personal trainers and fitness consultants
- Oversee all aspects of administrative details as they pertain to the Pro-Fitness Program protocol
- Hiring, training, motivating, directing, and evaluating all personal trainers and fitness consultants
- Communicate with club members as it pertains to the personal trainers and fitness consultants
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years managing a personal training staff for a health club or studio
- Demonstrated experience managing and growing a personal training client base
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales both personally and through support of membership staff
- Enthusiastic, energetic, personable, and friendly, as well as passionate, intelligent, and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry
- Excellent communication, time management, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Current national personal training certification or fitness-related degree
- Previous personal training sales are a plus
- Ability to work with and recruit trainers for all types of training (private, group, etc)
- Current CPR/AED certification
Salary Range
$30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
