We are seeking a charismatic and experienced Catering Manager with a heart for hospitality to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to build a strong rapport with clients. The Catering Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering operations, from planning and executing events to managing client relationships. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities
- Hiring, staffing, and scheduling our team of part time catering staff
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, event planners, venue managers, and vendors
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus and offerings
- Oversee event execution to ensure food and services are meeting both brand standards and client standards
- Assist sales team in responding to inquiries, providing proposals, and customized solutions for catering services
- Provide personalized recommendations for menu options, service styles, and event logistics as it pertains to catering
- Schedule and conduct tastings, client meetings, and venue walkthroughs
- Oversee invoicing and payment collection, ensuring that all transactions are processed efficiently
Qualifications:
- 3-5 Years of management experience, preferably in the hospitality field
- Experience hiring, scheduling, and motivating teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
- A customer-focused mindset with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
